Günter Weirich

Director of Marketing for GIA / Account Director for CTO

Günter started his tourism carreer with the degree of a "Diplom Touristikbetriebswirt" at the polytechnic university of Heilbronn. After his studies, Günter worked as a Travel Industry Marketing Manager for Disney Theme Parks and Resort Hotels in Eschborn. He then joined the world of Business travel and financial services while working as a Marketing Manager Corporate Travel at American Express in Frankfurt. Since November 2000, Günter is an important part of the GIA-Team, where he is now working as the account director for the Colorado Tourism Office and also for the region The Florida Keys & Key West. He is focussing on the development and implementation of marketing strategies as well as on cross media promotions and affiliate marketing programs.

Privately, Günter is kept on the go by his two children. In addition, he has a strong interest in history, politics and wine. Precious movie classics, especially Western, are his passion.
