Albert Jennings

Managing Director

A native of Austin, Texas, Albert Jennings received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988 with a major in Urban Studies (Macro-Economic Planning, Social History) and a minor in Germanic Languages, after studying in both Vienna and Munich. He relocated to Cologne Germany in 1988 to undertake market research for Kaufhof, one of Germany’s leading retailers, and was contracted by academic publishing houses to translate economic textbooks. After three dreary years of translation, Albert was hired by Mangum Management, one of Germany’s leading tourism representation companies, to assume responsibility for the Texas Tourism Office in Frankfurt in 1994.

Following the closure of the Texas office in Frankfurt, Albert was contracted by TMGI, another German-based marketing company, as Account Executive for the Arizona Office of Tourism, which entered the German market in 1996 for travel trade marketing. After gathering important experience and contacts over the next three years, Albert opened his own company – Get It Across Marketing – in 1999 with a contract for travel trade marketing from Colorado. Over the past years, Albert Jennings could establish himself and his agency as a reliable partner for the tourism industry and was voted the #1 German-based representation company servicing US destinations by the Product Managers of German tour operators.

Privately, Albert loves to play the piano, especially Late Romantic period and Russian Early Modernity. When doesn't ride his bike through the beautiful Rhine Valley, he most like is with his Volleyball team - either indoor or at a beach volleyball court.
